destroyAllWindows()

destroyAllWindows() is a born-digital computer vision project that applies edge detection script to an image archive of both real and synthetic stock photographs. The edge selections are then exported as layers and assembled into collages. These collages are distinctive for their lack of a fixed location, focus, or central theme. The visual attributes of the final collages, including color, form, texture, and overall composition, are influenced by the characteristics of the original images and the specific parameters of the code used. Landscapes are collapsed into textures, and color fields are torn apart and layered over artificial ideas of nature and beauty.
